North Carolina’s only raccoon species is the common raccoon, known for its masked face and ringed bushy tail, as well as intelligence and dexterity. I’ve had requests for a raccoon and I finally found a reference photo that I liked so much I couldn’t help but start drawing and painting. My original watercolor is about 6×8” and I will make the usual postcards, note cards, and matted prints.
